WMLL tee ball teaches the very basic fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and running the bases. The primary focus is for the kids to have fun while learning the game. The expectation of this division is for 4 to 6yr old players (kindergarteners) to learn the game of baseball; 6yr old 1st graders with no baseball experience are encouraged to play tee ball as well. See age chart below.
Coaches are provided with the Little League Tee Ball Program. This 10-week program allows coaches to teach players the fundamentals of the game and learn basic skills while having fun.
The league does its best to build teams with kids from the same schools, neighborhoods, and to fulfill requests. Teams will consist of 6 to 8 players per team.
Spring season: Teams will typically play one game a week starting in in the middle of May running through the middle of July.
