The table below shows the tournament divisions available to Wisconsin Little Leagues. WLL will attempt to field teams for several of the baseball divisions in 2026 (WLL plans to form softball All-Stars teams in 2027). The flagship event–the one you see on ESPN every August–is the Little League Major Division. Players are eligible only for divisions aligned with Little League age rules (e.g., players born between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2018 are "Little League Age 8"). While there is overlap in age groups, WLL limits players to one All-Star team to maximize participation.
* The 8-9 tournament is a new Wisconsin-only tournament created in 2025.
Teams are not simply made up of the top statistical players. Selection factors include:
The goal is to build the most competitive team to represent WLL at each level.
The below process is covered in more detail here: 2026 All-Stars Selection Process (PDF).
Bombers Baseball is the select program for WLL. Bombers tryouts occur in July and are separate from All-Stars.
Bombers uses a May 1 age cutoff commonly used in travel baseball, while All-Stars uses Little League age requirements with an August 31 cutoff.
Many All-Stars players also participate in Bombers, but participation in one program does not guarantee participation in the other.

Yes. Players are expected to commit fully to practices and tournament play throughout the All-Stars season, as outlined in the All-Stars Tryouts & Commitment Form.
WLL plans to begin forming softball All-Stars teams in 2027.
Families should continue to check the WLL website and league communications for updated schedules, forms, and announcements.
WLL strives to conduct a fair process for selecting All-Stars that will best represent the league. However, the ultimate responsibility for overseeing this process and ensuring all Little League requirements are met falls to the President.
The President reserves the right to modify the process at any time should it be deemed necessary.
