The Fourth of July Parade is a fun opportunity for players, coaches, volunteers, and families to come together and celebrate our country while representing the largest baseball and softball organization in Wauwatosa.

Staging is along Menomonee River Parkway east of Swan Blvd.

What Should Players Wear?
- WLL jersey or t-shirt
- Team hat or visor
- Comfortable shoes
- Bombers uniforms allowed
Arrival & Parking
- Park at Hoyt Pool lot and walk to staging
- Road closures will impact access (plan extra time)
- Avoid relying on Swan Blvd / North Ave / Parkway for access
Candy Distribution
- Provided by WLL
- Tee Ball: first section
- Machine/Coach Pitch: middle
- Minors/Intermediate: final section
- Must be handed directly to spectators (not thrown)
Pick Up
Meet players at the west side of Library/City Hall after WLL completes the route.
Sensory Friendly Zone
Please reduce noise and avoid loud effects while continuing to engage with spectators.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time does the parade start and when do we arrive?
The parade starts at 9:00am. Please arrive early enough to allow time to park and walk to staging to find our group between 8:00am and 8:30am.
Do I have to stay with my player?
No, but many families choose to. Some children prefer having a parent present depending on their age and comfort level.
Can siblings participate?
Yes! Siblings, parents, grandparents, and family members are welcome to join WLL in the parade.
Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
Drop off at WLL staging area along Menomonee River Parkway. We will likely be located between Charles Hart Pkwy and Church St.
Pick up is at the west side of Library/City Hall after the parade.
Do we need to bring candy?
No. WLL provides candy and baseball cards. Families may bring extra candy and baseball cards as well as their own bag for easier distribution if they choose
Can players bring bikes, scooters, or wagons?
No, unless approved by WLL organizers. Players should walk with the group in uniform.
What is the Sensory Friendly Zone?
This is a section of the parade from beginning at 81st Street designed to reduce noise and sensory overload while still allowing participants to engage with spectators.
What happens if it rains?
The parade runs rain or shine. We will still participate and have fun regardless of weather.
Do we need to bring water?
Water will be available, but players may bring their own bottle if they prefer.
