BASEBALL DIVISIONS

Spring is our main baseball season, we offer the following divisions:

T-Ball (4-6 years old)

Tee ball teaches the very basic fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and running the bases. The primary focus is for the kids to have fun while learning the game. The expectation of this division is for players to learn the game of baseball and is geared towards kindergarten.

Machine Pitch (6-8 years old)

The focus in machine pitch is on further developing basic baseball skills and teaching teamwork. A pitching machine is used. Scores are kept and stats are tracked. Games have a fun and introductory competitive atmosphere. This level of baseball is geared towards 1st and 2nd graders.

Minors (Kid Pitch; 9-10 years old)

The focus in minors is developmental with an emphasis on higher-level baseball skills, such as pitching, base running, proper throwing mechanics, and fielding. This level of baseball is the first year of player pitch and includes 46' pitching mound, 60' base paths, and stealing after the pitch crosses the plate. This level of baseball is geared towards 3rd and 4th graders.

Majors (Kid Pitch; 11-12 years old)

The focus in majors is still developmental in nature with an emphasis on teamwork and fostering a positive atmosphere among players and coaches.  This age group is eligible to advance to the Little League World Series. This level of baseball is geared towards 5th and 6th graders.

Juniors (13-15 years old)

The focus in Juniors division is more competitive baseball. This division plays on regulation baseball diamonds using full baseball rules.  This level of baseball is geared towards 7th and 8th graders or 15-year-olds not participating in a High School program.
